Following the Los Angeles Lakers’ 115-110 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4, which resulted in a 4-0 series sweep in the second round of the NBA playoffs, Luka Doncic shared his thoughts on the season. The star guard noted that the team’s exceptional form in the final stretch of the regular season had them believing they could compete for a title.
“We had great chemistry, and it was a privilege to play alongside LeBron James and Austin Reaves,” Doncic said. “The way we were playing, especially down the stretch, gave us the confidence that we could make a deep run.”
From March until Doncic’s injury, the Lakers posted a 16-2 record, matching the performance level of the Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs during that period. Despite the disappointing postseason exit, Doncic expressed pride in the team’s unity and effort.
