Ak Bars will travel by train to Yaroslavl for the first games of the Gagarin Cup final against Lokomotiv. According to Metaratings, the decision came after Rosaviatsia temporarily closed Yaroslavl’s airport for arrivals and departures on the night of May 7 to ensure security. As a result, the Kazan team will need at least 15 hours to reach Yaroslavl by rail. The first two matches of the Lokomotiv – Ak Bars series are scheduled for May 11 and 13 in Yaroslavl.
