Former Russia youth international Alexei Nikitin stated on *Match TV* that Zenit’s win over Sochi in the 29th round of the MIR Russian Premier League was a natural outcome.
Zenit secured a 2-1 comeback victory at home on Sunday.
“Zenit were trailing at halftime, but you can’t judge the result based on that period alone. The team played decent football, with good movement of both the ball and players. Glushenkov created numerous chances by moving well between the lines. In the end, Zenit rightfully earned the win,” Nikitin said on the program *All for the Match!* on *Match TV*.
With 65 points, Zenit moved to the top of the RPL table. Second-placed Krasnodar have 63 points and one game in hand. In the final round, the blue-white-sky blues will face Rostov away.
