The press service of VTB Arena confirmed to Match TV that a security sweep following an evacuation announcement at the stadium did not uncover any hazardous items.
The evacuation was ordered after the 29th round Russian Premier League match between Dynamo Moscow and Krasnodar, which ended with a 2-1 victory for Dynamo. A loudspeaker announcement warned spectators of an emergency and directed them to the exits.
“A signal about a potential threat was received after the match ended. In line with current safety protocols, all such reports are subject to mandatory verification, including a canine inspection of the premises. The check concluded that no dangerous objects were found,” the press service stated.
